The invitations will be sent out in May, to the uni-e-mail-address to graduates who are still enrolled and by post to graduates who have already exmatriculated.

Bachelor Business Administration: All those who are studying in at least the 5th semester and have completed at least 120 ECTS in April 2025 will automatically be invited. Those who have graduated since the last ceremony and did not take part in the ceremony in 2024 will be automatically invited as well.

MMM: All those who have completed at least 90 ECTS in April 2025 will automatically be invited. Students who have 84 ECTS or more will also be invited, provided the Master's thesis registration has already been booked in the Student Services. Those who have graduated since the last ceremony and did not take part in the ceremony in 2024 will be automatically invited as well.

Bachelor Economic and Business Education: All those who are studying in at least the 5th semester and have completed at least 135 ECTS in April 2025 will automatically be invited. Those who have graduated since the last ceremony and did not take part in the ceremony in 2024 will be automatically invited as well.

If you are going to graduate after this year's ceremony, you will automatically be invited to the ceremony next year.

The ceremony in the Aula lasts about 2.5 hours, the subsequent champagne reception about 1 hour.

First there will be a group photo.

The ceremony takes place for all graduates in the Aula of the Schloss. Relatives of the graduates can follow a livestream of the ceremony in the lecture halls of the East Wing. The link to this livestream will be sent to all registered graduates by e-mail the day before the ceremony, so that relatives can also follow the ceremony from home.

Afterwards, graduates and family members will meet in the East Wing for a champagne reception with canapés.

Please refer to the invitation and the e-mail you will receive in the week before the celebration for the schedule of the ceremony.

The ceremony for Bachelor in Business Administration and the Wipäd ceremony will be held in German.

The MMM ceremony will be held in English.

There is no ticket limit.

Graduation ceremonies mark the culmination of your studies. We make every effort to provide you and your family with a festive setting while keeping an eye on the costs for you and your family and for the Business School. Despite a general increase in prices, we are pleased to be able to keep the ticket prices for graduates fixed at 25 euros per person like the previous year. Unfortunately, we are forced to adjust the prices for accompanying persons, which will now be 35 euros per person for the 2025 graduation ceremonies.

The Business School would like to take this opportunity to thank the generous donation from the Partner der Mannheimer Betriebswirtschaftslehre e. V. association, which has made it possible to keep ticket prices for graduates stable.

Bachelor Business Administration: You will receive your graduation documents at the ceremony if you have regularly completed the last exams in the 6th semester on the regular examination date and the grades have been regularly recorded. If individual grades are still outstanding or you already have your certificate, you will only receive a transcript of records.

MMM: You will receive a decorative certificate at the ceremony.

Once you have registered for the graduation ceremony, you will receive all the information you need to rent gowns by e-mail to the e-mail address you provided when registering.

Renting gowns is voluntary.

There will be a group photo before the start of the ceremony.

During the ceremony, a photographer will take photos of each individual certificate handover, which will be made available to all participants via a cloud after the ceremony.

The Rittersaal in the central building of the Schloss will also be opened up as a photo backdrop.

Traditionally, as part of the graduation ceremony for the Bachelor of Science program in Business Administration, the Business Schools offers a vintage wine that can be purchased on the day of the event following the formal proceedings. This year, for the first time, there will also be a vintage wine for the MMM (M.Sc.). The wine is exclusively bottled and labeled for each graduating class. Names will be included on the label in accordance with the procedures for sending invitations to the graduation ceremony. The cut-off principle applies: You must have registered for the graduation ceremony by registration deadline (mid-June, 2025), to be listed on the label of the vintage wine. Unfortunately, card payment is not possible on the day of the event due to technical reasons. Please remember to bring cash.
